Submitting Authors Declaration

By submitting a paper/abstract (Hereafter: the “Scientific Work”) to the World Tunnel Congress 2025, the authors hereby declare that:

 

  • I am / We are aware that the submitted and finally accepted version of the paper will be published as per WTC2025 organizing committee’s arrangements. Hence, the submission of the abstract & full paper constitutes the consent of all authors to publication (e.g. Congress website, program, proceedings, open-access publication platform etc.).

  • I / We grant the conference organizer the right to publish the paper/abstract in the conference proceedings or any other related publications, or disseminate the paper/abstract through digital platforms associated with the conference.

  • I / We understand that the presenting author must be a registered participant for WTC2025, attend the conference and present the work as scheduled.

  • I / We declare that the submitted abstract/ full paper is original, has not been published or presented before and is not currently being considered for publication elsewhere.

  • I / We declare that all sources used are fully acknowledged and all quotations properly identified, and that the paper/abstract is free from any plagiarism or copyright infringements.

  • I / We confirm that the paper/abstract adheres to the formatting and submission guidelines provide by the conference organizer and understand that the Corresponding Author is the sole contact for the review process. He/she is responsible for communicating with the other authors about progress, submissions of revisions and final approval of proofs.

  • I / We understand that the Organizers reserve the right to remove from publication and/or presentation a scientific work which does not comply with the policy described herein.
  • I / We understand that I / We should suggest a specific Topic for the allocation of the submitted abstract / paper as per WTC2025 sub-categorization of the congress theme. However, I / We understand that the proposed topic allocation will be reviewed by the WTC2025 Scientific Committee which reserves the right to change the Topic under which the scientific work was originally submitted.

  • I / We confirm that there are no known conflicts of interest associated with the submitted scientific work presented in the abstract / paper.

  • I / We confirm that I / We have given due consideration to the protection of intellectual property associated with this work and that there are no impediments to publication, including the timing of publication, with respect to intellectual property. In so doing I / We confirm that I / We have followed the regulations of our institutions concerning intellectual property.

  • I / We warrant that no part of the information and content of the abstract / full paper submitted to WTC2025 Organizing Committee or any other party that act on their behalf (Hereafter: the “Organizers”), nor the publication of any its contents by the Organizers (either in the congress proceedings or in open access web platforms) infringes any third-party rights, including but not limited to privacy rights and/or intellectual property rights.

  • I / we understand the code of ethics that apply on international Congresses such as the WTC2025, and consent to the Congress Privacy/GDPR Policy.

Note:

Any request to add or remove an author, or to rearrange the author names, must be communicated with the Scientific Committee via abstracts+wtc2025@invajo.com by the corresponding author of the accepted abstract/ full paper. Written confirmation (signed letter) from all authors indicating their accordance to the addition, removal or rearrangement must be sent to the Scientific Committee. In the case of addition or removal of authors, this includes confirmation from the author being added or removed.
