Welcome Reception at Stockholm City Hall
Kick off the congress with our exclusive Welcome Reception at the iconic Stockholm City Hall on Sunday May 11th. The City of Stockholm invites you to the historic venue, famous for hosting the annual Nobel Prize banquet, offers a magnificent setting to meet fellow delegates, enjoy exquisite cuisine, and celebrate the start of our event.
When: Sunday May 11th at 19.00
Where: Stockholm City Hall
How to reach: Transportation is not included. However, Stockholm City Hall is in front of the Waterfront Congress Centre and it will take you about 10 minutes walking to reach the City Hall.
IMPORTANT INFOMATION
You will receive a physical ticket for the Welcome Reception when you check in at the WTC 2025 registration desk at Stockholmsmässan. This ticket is required for entry to City Hall and cannot be replaced if lost. We kindly ask you to keep it safe once received.
We strongly recommend that you plan to check in and collect your badge and Welcome Reception ticket on Sunday, 11 May, during registration opening hours: Sunday, 11 May – 08:00 to 19:00
For security reasons, ensure your bag is A4 size or smaller, as larger bags are not permitted. However, you’re welcome to leave your jacket in the cloakroom.

Young Member Social at SUS
On Tuesday the 13th of May the ITA-YM invites all the young members to a networkning event. The young members social is an evening where all the young members can meet up, socialize, and meet new friends. The event will be held at Stockholm Under Stjärnorna (Stockholm under the stars), the vibrant rooftop is located 50 meters above the streets of central Stockholm. Enjoy an evening on a rooftop bar with fantastic views over Stockholm and expect a party with music, food, drinks, and amazing company!

Getting there from Stockholmsmässan:
Take the commuter train (Pendeltåg) from Älvsjö Station to Stockholm City Station – it’s just a 10-minute ride. From there, it’s a short 5-minute walk to the venue.
Please remember to bring your congress badge and show it to the security staff at the entrance to skip the line outside.

Congress Dinner at Artipelag
Join us for a memorable Congress Dinner at Artipelag, a stunning art and culture venue nestled in the Stockholm archipelago. This evening will showcase the finest of Sweden, from culinary delights to artistic masterpieces. It promises to be a night of elegance, inspiration, and celebration.

Join us for a truly special evening at Artipelag—a world-class art venue beautifully nestled in the archipelago. Enjoy a welcome drink as you stroll through the art installations, take in the surrounding nature, and listen to live jazz before dinner begins.
This is a ticketed event, so please bring your congress badge, as staff will scan the QR code on it for entry.
Getting there:
- By boat (for pre-booked guests): Departs from Nybrokajen at 17:00 sharp. Look out for WTC staff on-site to guide you.
- By bus (free of charge):
Departs Stockholmsmässan at 18:00
Departs Cityterminalen at 19:00
Look out for WTC staff on-site to guide you. - On your own: If you prefer to arrange your own transport, Artipelag is accessible by car or taxi (approx. 30–40 min from central Stockholm). Limited parking is available on-site.
Returning to the city:
Return buses will begin departing Artipelag at 23:30 and will continue running until 01:00, heading back to central Stockholm.
