Mikael Creütz, M.Sc. (WSP Sweden), specializes in ground engineering and has approximately 30 years of experience in technical design and supervision of various projects. In the field of grouting, Mikael has been involved in designing and supervising jet grouting works, as well as low-pressure grouting in soil and rock.

Regarding rock fracture grouting, Mikael has been responsible for the design of curtain grouting, pre-excavation grouting, and post-grouting using both cementitious and chemical grouts. He has also introduced Scandinavian grouting practices to Singapore, including curtain grouting in rock.

In 2014, Mikael was recognized for his significant contributions to the Swedish ground engineering industry by receiving the prestigious “Golden Pile Award.”

Mikael has acted as a grouting specialist for soil and rock grouting in several major infrastructure projects in Stockholm and Gothenburg, Sweden. He has also contributed to grouting works in the Netherlands, Finland, and Singapore. In addition, Mikael has authored and presented several papers on grouting, both in Sweden and internationally.

He has been involved in research on rock fracture grouting and has contributed to the European course Grouting Fundamentals and Current Practice. For more than 15 years, Mikael has been a board member of the Swedish Association for Foundation Engineering (SAFE), where he is also active in the education program. Furthermore, he serves as Sweden’s representative in the development of European standards for executing special geotechnical works.
