Pitch, Mingle and Innovate

WTC 2025 introduces an innovative format for knowledge exchange through dedicated Pitch & Mingle events, designed to spark meaningful discussions and forge valuable professional connections within the global tunnelling community.

These specialised sessions aim to enhance interaction during the congress, ensuring delegates return home with practical insights and inspiration for their daily work. The format combines focused presentations with open dialogue, creating an ideal atmosphere for thought-provoking discussions among industry professionals.

Two moderated Pitch & Mingle sessions will take place in Hall A2, each addressing specific industry challenges:

• Monday, 16:00-17:40: “Case Studies – Challenging Conditions”
• Tuesday, 15:30-17:10: “Innovative Tunnelling – Digitalisation”

Engaging discussions

Each session features six carefully selected papers, with authors delivering concise 5-minute pitches followed by Q&A. Participants then engage in open discussions with presenters and fellow attendees, encouraging deeper exploration of ideas and potential collaborations.

This new approach to technical presentations reflects WTC 2025’s commitment to meaningful knowledge exchange and professional development. The selected papers for these sessions will be announced in the technical program, promising engaging discussions on critical industry developments.
