Poster Sessions Meet Swedish Fika at WTC 2025

WTC 2025 is set to combine cutting-edge research with authentic Swedish hospitality through its innovative approach to poster sessions and traditional fika breaks.

With over 400 poster presentations accepted for the congress, WTC 2025 will transform the conventional poster session format into a dynamic knowledge exchange platform. Each presenter will deliver a Short Oral presentation at the Poster sessions, allowing for concise overviews followed by in-depth discussions with attendees. The three best posters will be presented with a prize by Professor Arnold Dix.

Complementing these academic exchanges, WTC 2025 will incorporate the cherished Swedish tradition of fika throughout the congress schedule. More than just a coffee break, fika is a cultural institution in Sweden that encourages people to pause, connect, and converse over coffee and pastries.

Your Guide to the Poster Sessions

The dedicated poster area in Room A7 features thirteen interactive screens displaying over 430 presentations in three convenient formats: static poster images, 5-minute recorded presentations, and full papers. Available from Monday 11:00 through Wednesday 17:00, this digital setup enables participants to explore research independently throughout the congress.

Interactive sessions are scheduled during both lunch breaks and Swedish fika times, from Monday lunchtime through Wednesday. During these periods, authors will present brief pitches of their work, followed by open discussions. This combination of structured presentations and informal networking creates an ideal environment for meaningful knowledge exchange.
